Meet Michelle

Michelle Maynard is a Chartered Accountant, Chartered Tax Advisor, national media commentator, speaker and award-winning businesswoman. Michelle is renowned for her approachability, her work ethic, generosity and genuine passion for assisting small business owners navigate the highs and lows of business ownership.

 Michelle’s passion and experience comes from over 15 years of working with small business owners across the country. During her time as an employee, she saw too many small business owners feeling overwhelmed by the financial side of their business, and unprepared for the challenges that lay ahead. Michelle saw the opportunity to empower and educate small business owners by becoming a trusted advisor and asset to the businesses she works with.

Michelle knows first hand how hard running a small business can be, because she is one herself. Michelle is an Accounting Partner for the very successful Carbon Group, and juggles this alongside two other roles she embraces wholeheartedly – mother of two and FIFO wife.

Michelle also speaks regularly at local and interstate industry events and conferences.
